Carnet TIR – the document of customs transit, which gives the right to transport goods across borders in sealed by customs bodies vehicles or containers with simplification of customs procedures. The document covers the road and multimodal transportation of goods (carried in vans, trailers, containers and half trailers) between countries that are in “Customs Convention on the international transport of goods with the use of books of international road transport (TIR).” All motor vehicles must have the appropriate authorization in their use from the competent authorities. Issued by national guaranteeing union (association), authorized, in turn, by the competent authorities of the country.
