To make international freight road transport uses a special kind of bill of lading – CMR. CMR consignment note is valid based on the “Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods” (CMR), which contains general information on the form, content and rules of filling in the invoice.
CMR Convention provides that a contract of carriage of goods by road must be confirmed on the shipping invoice (CMR). CMR consignment note is issued in three copies: the first copy is handed to the sender, the second is attached to the goods, the third remains with the carrier. The consignment note is not negotiable and document of title.
Functionally, Waybill CMR – is conclusive document confirming the conclusion of the international automobile cargo transportation contract. It confirms that the load at the time of the receiving was in good condition, in the whole packaging, labeling, and the number of seats that meet in the consignment note.
