Intermodal transport
Intermodal transport is a freight transport in which two or more modes of transport are used. Most often a consignment of goods has a single transport document, is in one cargo unit (e.g. tank, container, etc.) along the whole route and is moved from one mode of transport to another in the same way.
VEREX carries out intermodal transportations throughout the Baltic States, Russia, CIS countries and also to neighbouring countries. Our employees will calculate the most optimal delivery route for you, minimise financial and time costs as much as possible. We provide our customers with information about the speed of cargo movement and its location at the moment of enquiry. We offer sea, rail and road transport of cargo in containers, on pallets and in other types of packaging.
When developing schemes for cargo delivery, our company takes into account all nuances concerning the specifics of the cargo and the place of loading.
